Key Insights

APAC: A Shift Toward Ecosystem Integration

Contrary to widespread expectations, Gemini emerged as the most trusted AI assistant across APAC, driven largely by strong integration with the Google workspace ecosystem and perceived enterprise security standards.

Key findings:

  • ● Gemini ranked #1 in trust and daily usage
ChatGPT followed closely, maintaining strong adoption among developers and marketers
Claude and Perplexity demonstrated growing traction, especially among research-heavy roles

Professionals across APAC showed higher sensitivity toward data security, ecosystem compatibility, and organizational IT policies, favoring tools embedded within existing enterprise platforms.

EMEA: ChatGPT Retains Clear Leadership

In contrast, ChatGPT maintained its leadership position across EMEA, driven by strong perceptions of reasoning capability, flexibility, and ease of use.

Key findings:

  • ● ChatGPT ranked #1 in trust, usage frequency, and task completion satisfaction
Claude placed second, showing significant momentum among enterprise, consulting, and strategy professionals
Gemini and Perplexity trailed, with growing adoption but lower trust scores
  •

EMEA respondents emphasized output quality, analytical depth, and conversational intelligence as their primary trust drivers.

Trust Drivers Across Regions

Across both APAC and EMEA, trust in AI assistants was primarily shaped by:

● Accuracy & reasoning quality
● Data security & compliance perception
● Integration with workplace tools
● Speed & reliability of outputs
● Transparency of sources and citations

Impact

The study provided actionable intelligence for AI platform developers, SaaS providers, enterprise IT leaders, and technology marketers, enabling them to:

  • ● Refine regional product positioning strategies
    ● Tailor go-to-market messaging based on trust drivers
    ● Optimize enterprise adoption roadmaps
    ● Design region-specific onboarding and enablement frameworks

Key outcomes included:

  • ● Clear regional segmentation strategies for AI product teams
    ● Improved enterprise targeting and messaging clarity
    ● Actionable insights for partnership and ecosystem integrations
    ● Enhanced understanding of trust mechanics in AI adoption

Conclusion

The battle of the bots is not being won by a single global leader — regional context, ecosystem integration, and professional workflows fundamentally shape AI trust.

While ChatGPT dominates across EMEA, Gemini’s rise in APAC highlights the growing importance of enterprise ecosystem alignment and data governance perceptions.

For AI companies, winning adoption requires more than technological superiority — it requires trust, relevance, and seamless integration into daily professional workflows.
